Happy Friday
30th September 2011

London-town, an amazing Spanish wedding, a beautiful, romantic French wedding, lots of friends, food and champagne has meant for an absolutely awesome month, albeit a lack of BTN posting! I hope this rainbow house makes up for it.
We’re back in Cape Town on Monday so I’ll pick up my neon awesomeness and inspiration then and in the meantime Happy Friday everyone! Enjoy this amazing London weather!

Globe Bird Feeder
12th September 2011

I love these bird feeders made from old glass lamps. They’re simple, elegant and would be a cool addition to any garden. Get the low down on how to make them over at Design*Sponge.
Gimme Bar
9th September 2011
I’m very excited about the new Gimme Bar app by Fictive Kin! It’s like bookmarking your favourite bits and pieces off the web, but better! Store all your inspiration in one place. Awesome.

A Day in the Life…
8th September 2011

I like this A Day in the Life of a Graphic Designer by DesignTaxi. Sometimes I wish I was a bit busier, but definitely not if it meant surviving on only 3 hours of sleep a night.

The Dark Art of Pricing
7th September 2011

Oh she’s good. The awesome Jessica Hische writes about The Dark Art of Pricing. An extremely useful, well-written article and an absolute must-read for every designer and illustrator out there.

I love this branding by Glasgow design consultancy Graphical House. The owl icon is awesome.
Switcheroo
2nd September 2011

These awesome shoots are by Sincerely Hana, a photographer from Whistler. It’s such a cool idea.
I think that swapping the couples over is the thing that really makes you look twice. Clever.

This little dude is awesome! He makes me laugh so much!
Yay! We’re going to London!
Inkling
1st September 2011
Oh yeah! Come mid-September Wacom will be launching Inkling, a nifty little product that lets you draw onto a regular piece of paper and then transfer it into Photoshop or Illustrator as a vector file to work on. Wow! It comes packaged in a cool little box and will be retailing at $199.99. Have a watch of the video to see how it works.
