August Table

This city map tableware by ex city-planner Cherry Chaicharn is lovely. She started August Table after moving to Hong Kong from her beloved San Francisco.

She says “Sometimes you just want to have something that reminds you of a city, but you’re looking for something classy and not necessarily touristy, something a little more subtle and personal. When a sweatshirt or a bumper sticker doesn’t quite capture how you feel, perhaps a more grown-up memento is a better way to go.”

At the moment they do platters and plate sets of 4 – for Paris, Chicago, San Francisco and Hong Kong, although she writes if you send her a blurb about your favourite city you might well inspire the next set of plates!
