Earthwave 2012

This weekend is Earthwave 2012.

Si took part in it the year before last and they got about 90 surfers all up on the same wave which was pretty amazing, but the record is 110.

Hopefully they can break it this year and if the waves don’t play nice, there’s 2 other records to try and beat. The first one is for The longest line of surfboards on a beach (the record was set at La Jolla in San Diego with 180 boards = 515m) and the second for The largest logo created by surfboards (230 surfers paddled out at Malibu last year to form a giant peace sign).
