Jay L. Clendenin
2nd August 2012
Wow, these photographs by Times photographer Jay L. Clendenin made me do a double take.
Using a Canon 5D Mark II alongside a 4×5 inch field camera and a 100 year-old Petzval lens, he was able to capture members of the US Olympic team in 2 very different styles. I love that he’s composed and set up the images slightly differently – each one has a very stylised and relevant feel to it’s ‘era’.
I’m also loving all this Olympic-creativeness!
