Kilian Martin: Altered Route

Altered Route is a short skateboarding film by Brett Novak for mb! by Mercedes Benz, and was shot at the abandoned 1950s Lake Dolores/Rock–A–Hoola Waterpark in the Mojave Desert.
Watching Kilian Martin skate is like watching an old-school Hawaiian long boarder surf – it’s peaceful and really quite beautiful.
What’s cool about it (aside from Martin’s beautiful and extremely graceful style) is that the film has been cut with old footage from when it was still a waterpark. Clever and definitely worth a watch.
