Double wow holy cow.

These long exposure shots of stars from space are pretty awesomely spectacular.

Taken from the ISS by Expedition 31 Flight Engineer Don Pettit, he says he takes shots of 10 to 15 minutes. Due to the 30 second exposure limit on his camera though, he takes multiple 30 second exposures and stacks them afterwards “…just like many amateur astronomers do…” (except he’s shooting out the window of a space ship). Coooooool!
