All You Need Is Love
1st February 2012

The fine folk over at Smashing Magazine have released their pick for February’s Desktop Wallpaper Calendar series.
Lots of very Valentine’s Day (read: Wedding!) appropriate ones. I like this one by Allison Brown.
Check out the rest here.
Clear
31st January 2012

“Life is messy. Simplify with Clear.”
I’ve just been reading about a new To Do app called Clear. Don’t get me wrong, I love Teux Deux (the nifty little swissmiss To Do app) and use it on my computer all the time, but I never got around to sorting it out on my (very old and very slow) iPhone.
Clear looks even more simple than Teux Deux, and although some people are saying this app is before it’s time as it breaks a lot of current interface rules with no labels, icons or menus, for me it would be perfect. Just a bit long list in bright blocks of colour.
Have a watch of the video and see what you think.

iPod Nano Clock Faces
26th January 2012

I think I’m a little behind on this one, but these iPod Nano clock faces are cool. I love, love, love the Mickey Mouse one especially!
Baker’s Twine
13th January 2012

Our wedding is getting closer (39days 02hours 23minutes 06seconds according to Si’s Dashboard Countdown Widget - yikes!) so I’ve been busy designing cards, making signs and getting things finished.
My Baker’s Twine finally arrived in the post a couple of days ago and I love it. Si vetoed bunting from the beginning, but a little Baker’s Twine won’t go amiss! I might have to make it my new favourite thing for 2012 and order some more colours so I can wrap this year’s birthday presents in it.
Gimme Bar
9th September 2011
I’m very excited about the new Gimme Bar app by Fictive Kin! It’s like bookmarking your favourite bits and pieces off the web, but better! Store all your inspiration in one place. Awesome.
Watch the video to see how it works.

To Do
26th August 2011

I just found a set of To Do lists over at Mrs. Easton and I don’t really know what else to say except wow! They were made by her brother and there’s loads of them. I think they look like pieces of art.
Here’s a screenshot of my Teux Deux app by Swissmiss as a comparison. Hmmm…maybe I need to go back to the old school. It seems a whole lot more fun, don’t you think? (although I love Teux Deux and it’s super pretty as well…)
Daisy Disk
20th July 2011

Not just a pretty app! Daisy Disk scans your computer and displays your content in beautiful and colourful interative maps, meaning you can easily find large useless files that you no longer need and get rid of them to create more space.
28GB of space freed up and I can’t stop clicking around it (and did I mention the awesome icon as well??)
